I'm just finishing up a fantastically inspiring book that I would recommend to anyone....Everyone, even! :)
It's called The Think Big Manifesto by Micheal Port.
Micheal is the author of several best-selling business and marketing books, but in this one he gets much more personal and universally relevant. I am loving this book ...greatly exceeding my expectations.
It's beautifully aligned with my artist friend, Gary Reef's, motto for 2009: THINK BIG - NO EXCUSES.

Here are just a few words of wisdom from the Manifesto:
"Statements of the Think Big Revolution....
I will identify what I stand for through a concerted process of self-questioning and exploration to discover my core, the what that is so me.
I will make public what I stand for.
I will hold myself accountable each day to its letter and spirit. ...
I will be comfortable with who I am right now and know that I am good enough.
I will use my innate talents and gifts to do big things in the world.
I will not give up in the face of others' fear or disbelief. ...
I will not seek control.
I will make visible my purpose, make promises in it service and take risks to fulfill my commitments.
I will be an authentic person, one whom others can rely on....
I am here to learn....
I will act in the spirit, light and service of what I stand for.
I will train to be strong psychologically, intellectually, and physically, so that I may have the fortitude to do the big things I am capable of.
I will embrace chaos and joy...
I will be now. I am now. ...I will do now. "
As you can see, the Manifesto is nothing if not challenging.
Micheal renounces the scarcity mentality associated with competition. He thoroughly rejects and debunks the Donald-Trump-mentality of winning at someone else's expense.
Instead, he builds a beautiful case for abundant thinking and open, generous collaboration as a way of multiplying reach and impact in the service of our passions, causes and purpose.
The Think Big Manifesto -- and Big Thinking -- may change your life.
You can find out in only 166 pages! :)
Great news - the force is with you! :)
